Baptists are NOT protestants. This is a common misperception. The Baptist faith was founded by the apostles in the Upper Room shortly after Jesus’ death…not in the 1600′s as many people think. You should read “A Glorious Church” by Mike Gass if you want to know the real truth about Baptists. Having said that, we’re all Christian brothers and sisters and we do not have to quibble about the minutae in order to be saved.
