Unfortunately these types of videos and counter-protests play right into the WBC’s hands. It’s exactly what they want. They feed off it. Just imagine if they picketed somewhere and everyone simply went about their business and completely ignored them. Imagine how dumb these people would feel. They’d have to wallow in their own misery and pathetic existence alone. Completely ignoring them would hit them harder than any counter-protest or YouTube video ever could.

Their basic premise is that if you don’t obey god’s word (according to them) then you’ll burn eternally in hell.All that needs to be said here is that Shirley Roper had a son out of wedlock which is in direct violation of god’s word (at least, according to what they believe) and that contradicts their entire message.In addition to being woefully ignorant, Shirley Roper is a fraud and her illegitimate son is tangible proof.

@ Sterophonic81 … You are missing the point, deliberately, I think. Yeah Shirley Phelps sinned once BIGTIME, but she didn’t make a lifestyle out if it. That doesn’t make her a fraud, just human. That is distinctly different from this wicked culture that glorifies drugs, sex, rock & roll. Jesus didn’t die on the cross so you can wallow in your favorite sin like a pig in poop … that is the fundamental message. I agree with it.
